ChatGPT Integration
The SoMerch ChatGPT plugin lets teams research products, plan merch projects, and request quotes directly inside ChatGPT. It connects through the SoMerch public MCP server and does not require a separate login for browsing and planning.
What you can do
- Search the SoMerch catalog by category, brand, or collection
- Compare products with quantity-aware pricing and MOQ
- Generate a merch plan with up to three tiered options and feasibility checks
- Check deadlines, budgets, and market support for the EU and Switzerland
- Submit a quote request with a built-in confirmation step
- Work in English, German, or French
How to connect
- Open ChatGPT and go to Settings > Connectors > Advanced (Developer mode).
- Add a new connector with the URL
https://somerch.co/mcp. - Save and enable the connector.
You can then ask questions like:
- "Find sustainable hoodies for a 100-person onboarding pack."
- "Plan a merch kit for a 200-person event in Germany with a 6-week deadline."
- "Compare drinkware options under €20 for a team store."
- "Submit a quote request for my plan."
Quote requests
Quote submission is two-phase. ChatGPT first shows a confirmation preview, and only a confirmed request with a matching single-use token is submitted. Personal email addresses are rejected, and repeated submissions are idempotent.
Privacy
Plan data is kept for 24 hours, contact data is only stored after a confirmed quote submission, and no ChatGPT user identifier, cookies, or IP addresses are persisted.
